Hi, I’m Kayla!
The truth is, the key to a long, successful creative career are the connections you have and the experiences that challenge and transform you.
I have always been in love with education and photography. After six years of grad school, working as a creative coordinator for my university, and later a small business creative director I ended up quitting my long sought after path as a marriage and family therapist because I fell in love with wedding photography and the creative industry.
I’ve been shooting since 2020, and traveling internationally since 2018. I have been to multiple countries, but I believe Costa Rica is my favorite of them all. It’s a country that demands your presence because of its awe, beauty, relational culture and constant adventure.
As a creative I know what it means to be burnt out, lonely, and ready to move on to something new. This is exactly why I’ve created this workshop. I truly believe that life experiences like these push you to excel in your life mentally, spiritually, physically, and creatively.
I cannot wait for you to experience the adventure of a lifetime that transforms your creativity and career.

Make sure you have a valid passport. Outside of that, know that you’ll be safe as soon as you arrive. We will meet you personally at the airport. No need to worry about taxis or car rentals or feeling lost when you arrive. Traveling for the first time can be stressful, we got you!

The first retainer is nonrefundable, but you can transfer your ticket to someone else. 90 days prior to the trip all other payments are refundable, but ticket transfer is recommended.

Winter is a slower shooting time for everyone, and the perfect time to visit CR because they are in peak dry season. Perfect for travel!

Submitting doesn’t guarantee acceptance. Applications will be reviewed and those selected will receive an official proposal to move forward.
