Hi, I’m Kayla!

The truth is, the key to a long, successful creative career are the connections you have and the experiences that challenge and transform you.

I have always been in love with education and photography. After 6 years of grad school, working as a creative coordinator for my university, and later a small business creative director I ended up quitting my long sought after path as a marriage and family therapist because I fell in love with wedding photography and the creative industry.

I’ve been shooting since 2020, and traveling internationally since 2018. I have been to multiple countries, but I believe Costa Rica is my favorite of them all. It’s a country that demands your presence because of it’s awe, beauty, relational culture and constant adventure.

As a creative I know what it means to be burnt out, lonely, and ready to move to something new. This is exactly why I’ve created this workshop. I truly believe that it is life experiences like this that push you to excel in your life mentally, spiritually, physically, and creatively.
